Through research, education, advocacy and performance improvement, Alpha Consulting assists policymakers, educators and trainers in increasing access and reducing barriers to high-quality health services related to women’s and reproductive health.

Alpha Consulting strives to enhance the health and wellbeing of women throughout their life span. We work to prevent illnesses and diseases that impact women and strive to improve access to and quality of health care. We have expertise in breast and cervical cancer, sexuality, nutrition, reproductive health choices, sexually transmitted infections, prenatal care, and gender based violence. We study barriers to access of care for adolescent girls and women and evaluate various strategies of improving access. We provide training and technical assistance to enable agencies and health professionals to effectively and compassionately address the needs of women they serve, especially those who are poor or underserved.

Alpha Consulting works to improve the health status of children by promoting family-friendly and accessible services. We provide technical assistance at the national, state and community levels to establish strong, sustainable systems of maternal and child care. We assist communities and organizations in their efforts to enhance services for children through outreach, access strategies and care coordination.
